Rise of
Novaeus
The Sun God
Where it all began

Before Zoran became the Sun God, he was born beneath the golden skies of Taa’Ruun, the third sun-swept world of the Nal’Zhari—a proud, ancient race of solar channelers said to be the chosen children of Nyambe, the hidden god of the Suns. His people believed in a prophecy: that when the “Final Eclipse” came, only one among them would be worthy to inherit Nyambe’s divine spark—and become the last light in the darkest time.Zoran was a child of peace, not power. He studied solar harmonics and celestial mechanics in the high towers of K'aahl, learning to listen to the sun’s whispers rather than bend them. But when the first eclipse arrived—unnaturally early, blacker than space—his world fell into chaos. A cursed shadow spread across the Nal’Zhari system: Wanda Maximoff and Stephen Strange, corrupted by the Darkhold, had torn a hole in the multiverse. The rot of magic was seeping through realities. The Nal’Zhari gathered their energy, hoping to escape through an ancient solar portal. But the Darkhold’s influence infected their dimensional stabilizers, collapsing their world into a slow, burning entropy. The people perished—one by one—absorbed into light itself.Zoran alone stood at the portal’s heart. As the sun itself began to weep, the sky opened—not to the void, but to a presence older than gods.“Zoran, child of loss, bearer of light, last of Nal’Zhari… the suns call your name.”It was Nyambe, no longer a myth but radiant beyond reason, who spoke from within the dying sun. He did not save Zoran. He remade him.Forged in grief, Zoran became light incarnate. His skin shimmered with living plasma. His heartbeat echoed the rhythm of dying stars. Nyambe granted him dominion over all solar forces: gravity, fire, healing, energy, and memory. He was now the Sun God, the prophesied Flame-That-Endures.Zoran wandered the collapsing multiverse, eventually anchoring in Earth, where he formed the Great Society, a pantheon of heroes modeled after virtue preparing for the threat of Wanda and Stephen. He hid the truth of his divine origin, believing his role was to protect—not preach. But the Darkhold followed..As Wanda and Strange—possessed now by unknowable hungers but filled with guilt—tore through reality in a desperate bid to rewrite their past sins, Zoran stood in their path. The Great Society fell, one by one, to the Darkhold’s illusions and rot. Zoran confronted Wanda in the dying remains of the last sun in his sky. Unfortunately, the chaotic powers of Cthon were too much for Zoran and thus cause his universe unravel in his very eyes.As the corrupted echoes of the Darkhold unraveled the last threads of Zoran’s universe, the Great Society lay broken. Wanda Maximoff and Stephen Strange—twisted by forbidden knowledge—had become living vessels for chaos, tearing holes in cosmic law. The stars of Earth-4290001 collapsed in on themselves, imploding from magical entropy.Zoran stood alone in the ruins of his reality, burning with the last light of Nyambe, god of Suns. Though he had failed to save his world, he would not let its final flame die in vain.“Let me carry what remains…”As the core of his sun cracked and folded into void, Nyambe’s voice whispered one final blessing: a solar drift, an unconscious exile through dimensions. Zoran’s body—now overwhelmed by cosmic energies and emotional devastation—was wrapped in a self-generating solar cocoon, built from the dying codes of his own universe. He didn’t fly.He fell—through reality, through shattered barriers, through veils of magic and space. In the early hours before dawn, off the coast of Long Beach, California, fishermen witnessed what they thought was a meteor: a golden fireball tearing across the sky, trailing ribbons of plasma that briefly lit the sea like midday. But it wasn’t a meteor. It was Zoran. His solar cocoon smashed into the ocean, vaporizing hundreds of gallons instantly. Emergency sensors across S.H.I.E.L.D. and Stark satellites pinged with warnings: unknown energy signature, ultraviolet overload, cosmic radiation out of phase with local physics. When the coast guard reached the scene, they found a crater of boiled water, and in its center—floating—was a man glowing faintly, his eyes shut, his body surrounded by slowly dimming solar rings. He was unconscious. Alone. But alive. He had survived. With a purpose, to end the Maximoff family name and Stephen Strange. Zoran now walks the world of Earth-616, residing in Compton, California after escaping a blacksite in Antartica, his memories fractured, his purpose uncertain. He senses that this world is... wrong. Dimmer. Louder. Colder. But in dreams, he hears Nyambe’s voice again, faint and flickering like a solar flare on the edge of sleep:"You carry a sun where none remains. You are not done."Zoran is Novaeus, the Sun God, the last survivor of a vanished cosmos, a divine force misplaced in a fragile universe with the human alias Zoran Elijah King. And the longer he stays, the more Earth’s heroes—and enemies—begin to notice something is burning brighter than it should.

Novaeus Profile:

Based on Zoran Elijah King / Novaeus, the Sun God’s origin story and divine transformation by Nyambe, his suit reflects both his cosmic alien heritage and his solar-divine rebirth. Here’s a breakdown of what his suit is made of, how it works, and what makes it uniquely Marvel cosmic-tier. Although, the suit looks dark blue note the color palette is black and gold.Composition & Origin
1. Solarweave Nanoplasma FiberForged in the dying light of the last sun in Earth-4290001. Woven from stabilized plasma threads condensed by Nyambe’s essence and reinforced with an adamantium alloy. This is to contain the amount of cosmic energy.2. Divinity-Infused Alloy: "Nyambium" A fictional Marvel metal infused with Nyambe’s divine energy. A little less durable than Vibranium, lighter than Uru. Reacts to cosmic entropy and mystic corruption, allowing Zoran to resist Darkhold-based magic and chaos surges but this can only last so long before the energy over powers his suit. Channels solar kinetic feedback for his flight, shielding, and radiant attacks.3. Celestial Glyph CircuitryGlowing yellow-gold glyphs etched into the suit from Nal’Zhari prophecy codes. The sigil on his chest pulses with Nyambe’s surviving spark forged with the heat of a dying star and alloyed with adamantium.Upon the activation of his powers, the intricate lines in his suits glow gold filled with his cosmic energy.
Powers and Skills:
Solar Energy Manipulation:Absorb, store, and project solar radiation in various forms from his hands and eyes. (heat blasts, plasma beams, radiant pulses).Starcore Flight:Supersonic flight powered by solar propulsion; can travel through space and any atmosphere.Solar Healing Factor:Regenerates rapidly in sunlight or starlight; near-immortality as long as he’s near a cosmic light source.Stellar Thermokinesis:Control temperature and thermal energy, ranging from absolute cold to solar flare heat.Solar Cocoon Rebirth:If he is about to die, he can enter a hibernation phase and heal inside a self-generated solar cocoon made by Nyambe's energy.Solar Domain Empowerment:Stronger when near stars, suns, or sacred flame-bearing structures. In total darkness, his power weakens but never fades entirely.Superhuman strength, speed, durability, breath, reflexes, and resistance to toxins and space vacuum.Advanced hand-to-hand combat
Weaknesses:
Light Dependency
Solar-Powered Physiology: Without access to a sun or radiant energy source, his powers weaken dramatically over time. In Darkness or Deep Space: Prolonged time in total darkness, mystical voids, or light-dead zones (like the Dark Dimension) causes degradation.Fractured Memories & Trauma
Multiversal Disorientation: His mind still reels from the destruction of his home universe, leading to moments of confusion or emotional instability.Grief Vulnerability: Seeing innocent lives at risk can cause him to hesitate or become emotionally overwhelmed—especially if they remind him of the Nal’Zhari.Chaos Magic Interference
Darkhold Residual Echoes: While he resists chaos magic, prolonged exposure can create feedback loops that disturb his solar flow. Vulnerable to Chthon-Linked Artifacts: Certain relics imbued with pure chaos (e.g., the Darkhold Dagger, the Wundagore Sigil) can pierce or disrupt his solar shield.Emotional Suppression
Buried Rage: His need to stay calm to avoid solar overload means if he does lose control, he risks catastrophic outbursts that harm allies.Connection to Nyambe: If he questions or loses faith in his divine purpose, his powers can falter, as they are tied to identity and belief. The Final Radiance (Ultimate Power = Ultimate Risk)
Self-Destructive Last Resort: His most powerful ability—The Final Radiance—can destroy or purify vast areas but leaves him brutally weakened, unconscious, or dead.
